Cheryl Lynn - Got To Be Real

I realised I had no idea what Cheryl Lynn looked like even though she is behind this most iconic of disco songs. As it turns out, she looks like a sweetie-pie.

I will always associate this song with one of my favourite moments in Sex and the City:

Seriously, SJP looks terrible. And that's meant to be high fashion? 

I also associate this song with The Last Days of Disco as it's on the rather fabulous soundtrack.
